Umniah Wins Silver Award for Customer Complaints at International Customer Experience Awards 2019 Amman, Jordan, 25 November 2019: In recognition of its commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences, Umniah has won the Silver award for the Customer Complaints category at the International Customer Experience Awards 2019 ceremony, which took place last Thursday in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The award was presented to Hamed Al-Atiyat, Customer Care Projects & Business Support Senior Manager, on behalf of Umniah CEO Ziad Shatara, after he delivered a presentation in front of a specialized judging panel, after which Umniah was announced the winner of the Silver award. Umniah was shortlisted for the International Customer Experience Awards 2019, along with 100 other companies from around the world, after meeting the criteria and conditions set by Awards International, the entity organizing the event. Commenting on the award, Umniah CEO Ziad Shatara said that Umniah has adopted a number of actions and procedures that promote its efforts to increase the speed of response to customer complaints across its various services, so it can monitor, follow up and respond to complaints at record speeds. The company has provided several options for customers to communicate with its staff, most notably through the company’s website, call center, and official social media sites. Shatara noted: “We are constantly committed to implementing the best practices in the Jordanian telecommunications sector, especially as we are a subsidiary of Bahrain’s Batelco Group, which is the leading provider of integrated telecommunications services in Bahrain and among the major telecommunications companies known in the region.” Umniah was awarded the ISO 10002:2014 Certificate in Customer Satisfaction in 2017 in recognition of its full compliance with the procedures used in the management and processing of customer complaints and preventing the recurrence of complaints with similar causes. -End-
