Umniah Continues Strategic Partnership with “Tawasol 2026” for the Third Consecutive Year as Part of Its Vision to Empower Youth and Build Future Skills

May 2026

Amman – Umniah by Beyon, recognized as Jordan’s Best Mobile Network based on Ookla “Speedtest” independent studies, has renewed its strategic partnership and sponsorship of the “Tawasol 2026” Forum, organized by the Crown Prince Foundation at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre, as part of its vision to empower youth and strengthen their readiness to contribute to Jordan’s digital economy and future.

Umniah’s participation in the forum for the third consecutive year reflects its belief that investing in young people is no longer limited to corporate social responsibility, but has become a strategic investment in building skills, fostering innovation, and preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with the rapid transformations shaping the world today, particularly with the growing role of technology and artificial intelligence in redefining the future of work and the skills required for tomorrow.

The forum brought together more than 1,500 young men and women from across the Kingdom in dialogue sessions focused on innovation, digital transformation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and the role of youth in driving change, with the participation of decision-makers, experts, and representatives from both the public and private sectors.

During the forum, Umniah showcased a range of initiatives and investments aimed at developing youth digital skills and strengthening innovation ecosystems, while also highlighting the role of technology in creating new opportunities for professional development and entrepreneurship.

Dina Al Daoud, Director of Brand and Corporate Communications at Umniah, said that the role of the private sector today goes beyond creating jobs or providing traditional support, noting that businesses have become key partners in building skills, empowering youth, and creating an environment that fosters innovation and competitiveness.

Al Daoud added: “At Umniah by Beyon, we believe that empowering young people is not only about providing access to technology, but also about enabling them to create solutions, innovate, and compete globally from Jordan. That is why we continue to invest in digital infrastructure and technology solutions that support youth readiness for the future.”

Umniah also supports the digital infrastructure of Jordan’s education sector through its ongoing partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Telecommunications Directorate of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army under the Electronic Connectivity and Protection Project, one of the Kingdom’s largest national initiatives focused on integrating information and communications technology into the educational process. Through the project, Umniah has connected more than 3,500 schools and 112 directorates and administrative buildings with connectivity and internet services, benefiting over 1.5 million students and more than 100,000 educational staff members. The company also continues its partnership with Al Hussein Technical University to support Jordanian talent and equip youth with the skills required by the new digital economy.

Through its “Shababi” initiative, Umniah also reaches more than 30,000 university students annually through programs and activities focused on dialogue, digital awareness, entrepreneurship, and future skills development.

Umniah continues to invest in strategic projects including 5G networks, fiber-optic infrastructure, and data centers, in addition to the fiber-optic connectivity project between Amman and Aqaba, as part of investments totaling JOD 300 million over the coming years. These investments reflect the company’s vision to strengthen Jordan’s position as a regional hub for technology and digital services under the umbrella of the global Beyon Group.
