UWallet is the Official Sponsor of the Al-Wehdat Basketball Team

December 12, 2020 – Amman, Jordan: UWallet, Jordan’s first mobile wallet service launched by Umniah and its strategic partners in 2016, has announced its official sponsorship of the Al-Wehdat Basketball Club, which was recently crowned champion of the Jordanian Basketball League for the first time in its history. As part of its strategic sponsorship agreement, UWallet will offer the team full financial support for two consecutive seasons, as well as numerous benefits that include exclusive access the platform’s payment services both for the team and its fans.

An electronic wallet will also be established in the Al-Wehdat Sports Club’s name that will allow fans to donate to the club automatically and easily. UWallet is an innovative financial service, allowing users to manage all their financial transactions through their mobile phones effectively, safely and quickly. Through the platform, subscribers can transfer money free of charge; pay bills including water, electricity, tuition and phone lines; and make purchases from authorized vendors and online simply by scanning a QR code. Through the service, funds can be withdrawn and deposited from the wallet from participating ATM machines or from authorized Umniah agents.
