Umniah Appoints Iyad Jabr as Chief Business Officer

May 29, 2023 – Umniah announced the joining of Iyad Jabr to its senior management team as the Chief Business Officer.
Jabr brings extensive experience in the sales and marketing world of major telecommunications companies in the region, spanning over 20 years. He has achieved numerous accomplishments in pre-sales services for the business sector and leading marketing departments, serving as an executive responsible for sales and marketing.
Jabr holds a master’s degree in business administration from Maastricht University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Al al-Bayt University.
Jabr has held several positions, starting as a systems manager in information technology companies in Kuwait, until joining Tawasul Telecom as a Senior Product Manager. He then joined Ooredoo Kuwait as the Head of Data Services, where he was promoted to Head of B2B Marketing. During that time, he contributed significantly to the increased revenues of the business sector and launched various services such as data centers and cloud computing services.
In 2016, Jabr joined Zain Kuwait as Enterprise Marketing Director. He was responsible for product marketing, customer satisfaction and performance management, partnership management, communication with companies, and sales of business solutions to small, medium, and large enterprises as well as the government sector. He played a key role in increasing IT revenues through innovation in business solutions, forging new partnerships with telecommunications and IT companies, IoT, cloud computing, hosting services, and establishing the first data center of its kind in Kuwait.
Umniah looks forward to Jabr’s contributions in his new position, as this field offers opportunities for growth and prosperity in line with the changes taking place in the telecommunications sector in Jordan, and Umniah’s direction to diversify the services it provides in the Jordanian market.
