Umniah signs memorandum of understanding with Bahrain-based accelerator Flat6Labs Umniah’s business incubator, The Tank, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bahrain-based accelerator program, Flat6Labs, with the objective of supporting the growth of local and international businesses in Bahrain and Jordan through consistent and fast-growing funds. The MoU was signed by Umniah’s Marketing Director, Zaid Ibrahim, and Flat6Labs Bahrain’s Managing Director, Ryaan Sherif. Under the MoU, both parties will work toward cultivating a growing network geared toward developing the business landscapes in both Bahrain and Jordan and connecting startups and entrepreneurs with venture capitalists, investors and consultants. The network will also see both parties sharing knowledge and expertise through regular talks, site visits and other programs. Flat6Labs is a regional startup accelerator program that fosters and invests in bright and passionate entrepreneurs with cutting-edge ideas. The agreement was conceived with the objective of benefitting local startups and entrepreneurs with the various acceleration programs offered by BRINC. The Tank also signed a similar agreement with Oasis 500 to help select startups traverse the initial stages of their development, in addition to offering them an integrated suite of acceleration services.
