Umniah’s Business Incubator The Tank is the First Incubator to offer Virtual and Ground Services to Startups in the Region September xx, 2018 – Amman, Jordan: The Tank, Umniah’s business incubator, has announced that it will offer virtual and Internet-based incubation services (wall-free business incubator) to entrepreneurs and startups from outside the capital city, Amman. The Tank’s latest offering is directly in line with the company’s strategy of reinforcing a culture of entrepreneurship and creativity throughout the country’s governorates. To date, The Tank has selected nine Jordanian startups, four of which are located in Irbid, two in Karak, two in Amman and one that is based in Germany, delivering to each of them integrated virtual incubation services remotely. Through this initiative, The Tank has become the first incubator to provide virtual development and on-the-ground services simultaneously, in addition to regional networking services. Umniah’s Marketing Director, Zaid Ibrahim said, “Since its launch in the Jordanian market about four years ago, Umniah’s business incubator, The Tank has played a significant role in supporting creative ideas and projects, helping to keep them alive, while offering them high quality services and maintaining its reputation for excellence.” He went on to add, “Umniah has long been known for its support of creativity, and as such, it has designed a service that targets the youth through expansion and by delivering the incubator’s integrated services remotely to the largest possible number of entrepreneurs in the different governorates of the Kingdom.” He noted that by using The Tank’s virtual incubation resources, startups will be able achieve higher added value. Ibrahim also noted that The Tank offers integrated high-quality services to develop creative ideas and projects and facilitate the access that entrepreneurs have to local and international experiences in the fields of entrepreneurship in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. According to Ibrahim, The Tank recently announced he launch of its new season, revealing the name of the 10 winners from among 300 applications submitted by Jordanian entrepreneurs and startups. – END –
