Umniah, has expanded its fiber network services to reach the southern regions of the Kingdom, starting with the Aqaba governorate.
According to Umniah, residents of the fourth, fifth, seventh, ninth and the western and eastern areas of the tenth, Al Alamiyah suburbs, as well as organizations and enterprises located at the commercial suburbs in Aqaba, now have access to high-speed internet up to 1000 Mbps. New subscribers can now enjoy high Internet speeds without delay, enabling them to upload and download large files, download movies, play online games as well as watch high-definition videos.
commenting on this expansion, Umniah Chief Commercial Officer Zaid Al-Ibrahim said, “We are happy to have expanded our fiber network services into the southern regions of the Kingdom in record time. This comes in response to the increased demand in for the service, which we witnessed when we launched this service in other governorates.” Al-Ibrahim went on to add that over the past several years, Umniah has invested heavily in the expansion of its fiber network to include all regions of the Kingdom within a well-planned time frame, as part of its strategic expansion plan to provide fiber coverage at the highest speeds and at competitive prices in the local market.
To date, Umniah’s fiber network service covers numerous areas in west and east Amman as well as the Zarqa governorate.
