1 Feb, 2021 – Amman, Jordan: As part of its continuous efforts to provide its customers with the latest and most innovative services, Umniah has launched UTrack, a fleet management service for companies and individuals. This latest system comes with advanced features and cutting-edge equipment, making Umniah the first telecom operator in the Kingdom to provide such a service on third and fourth generation networks.
This new system from Umniah is an integrated and advanced cloud-based monitoring solution that allows customers to simultaneously track their vehicles as well as monitor driver behavior, and includes tracking, notifications and alerts in emergency situations, speed controls, distances traveled, fuel consumption during and outside of official working hours, in addition to maintenance scheduling, all of which contribute to the reduction of operational costs, an increase in productivity and enhanced safety.
The system includes a number of extra benefits that include theft protection and enhanced safety and driving, all of which result in improving employee efficiency and increasing productivity. The system also supports more than 10 languages, and issues email and SMS alerts and notifications outlining a vehicle’s actual location and position, its route, whether it is inside or outside its specified geographical area, and alerts for excessive speed and standstill duration.
The launch of this new system, according to Umniah Director of Commercial Enterprise Mahmoud Abu Zannad, is part of a strategic security plan by the telecom to continuously upgrade the services it provides its customers. Abu Zannad went on to say that the fleet management and tracking systems operates on third and fourth generation networks with new features that meet all the requirements of the Jordanian market.
UTrack is now available on Play Store for users of Android devices, and on the App Store for iPhone devices.
