Umniah is nominated for the International Customer Experience Award for Digital Transformation and Customer Complaints Amman, 25 August 2019 The International Customer Experience Award, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, announced the 2019 finalists list in 19 different categories. Umniah is nominated for the digital transformation and customer complaints categories. In its second edition, the supervisory committee selected Umniah as well as 100 companies from around the world, after meeting the criteria and conditions set by the International Awards Foundation, which organizes the award. Umniah CEO Ziad Shatara expressed his delight at choosing Umniah as the only Jordanian company to qualify for the final stage. “This nomination represents international recognition and appreciation of our digital transformation and customer complaints practice and excellence in both,” he said. He pointed out that Umniah has adopted a strategy of digital transformation since 2016, which contributed to the enhancement of the company’s leadership amongst its counterparts from companies operating in the Jordanian telecom market. Umniah was awarded the ISO 10002: 2014 Certificate in Customer Satisfaction in 2017 in recognition of its full compliance with the procedures used in the management and processing of complaints and preventing the recurrence of complaints with common causes. Shatara emphasized that the company periodically evaluates the maturity index of transformation to inspect the level of customer service and maturity of the technical services provided and continuously works to develop them. -End-
