As part of its continued commitment to innovation excellence, Umniah has announced a strategic partnership with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technologies (TAGTech), one of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global group of companies.
The recently signed partnership between Umniah and TAG Global aims to integrate Umniah’s ultra-fast 5G and fiber services with TAGTech’s extensive digital transformation solutions, delivering comprehensive technological solutions that meet the growing needs of their clients.

Umniah is the first telecommunications operator in Jordan to launch 5G services across three main governorates as of April 2023: Amman, Zarqa, and Irbid. As of today, it has expanded Aqaba and Mafraq with an investment of about $100 million for the current year. It is expected that the company’s investment in these 5G services will increase over the next five years to $400 million, distributed across the devices, equipment, technologies, advertisements, and sales channels necessary for the service, with an additional investment in human resources to ensure sustainable service delivery.
