The festivities of Al-Balad Music Festival recently concluded after a week of remarkable performances by numerous local and regional artists. The festival took place at the Roman and Odeon amphitheaters in Downtown Amman and was sponsored by Umniah, the event’s strategic partner. The fifth running of the festival enjoyed a massive turnout as people flocked to experience the live performances of various local and regional musicians, many of whom were debuting their art for the first time. The event served as a vibrant and diverse platform for celebrating the region’s rich cultural heritage and allowing artists of various backgrounds to showcase their talents. Umniah’s support for the event stemmed from its unwavering commitment to support arts and culture in the Kingdom, which the operator believes are key elements in long-term social development. “We at Umniah regard ourselves as members of the Jordanian community, which is why we have committed to support events and initiatives that highlight the importance of art and culture, thereby casting a positive light on Jordan as a vibrant destination for tourism,” commented Umniah’s CEO, Ziad Shatara. Shatara also noted that Al-Balad Music Festival is a shining example of events that not only promote Jordan’s diverse heritage but that also support the Kingdom’s youth by providing an open and dynamic platform for artistic expression. This, he explained, establishes a stronger foundation for social development, encouraging future generations to have greater appreciation for art and allowing them to discover and develop their inherent potential.
