UWallet, the innovative payment service provider, was recognized by the National Aid Fund for its outstanding support of the fund’s digital transformation efforts and the distribution of financial aid to its beneficiaries.
National Aid Fund Director General Dr. Barq Al-Domur presented the recognition plaque to UWallet CEO Dr. Ala’a Ensheiwat during an event attended by senior team members from both entities.
From the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, the National Aid Fund adopted a new cash and aid delivery mechanism to support families that receive monthly financial aid from the program, whether through bank accounts or electronic wallets, with UWallet expediting the process and allowing them to access the funds efficiently.
During the event, Dr. Ensheiwat expressed his gratitude for this recognition, which strengthens UWallet’s leading role in furthering financial inclusion in the Kingdom. He went on to add that UWallet remains steadfast in its mission of providing innovative, safe and efficient e-payment solutions, offering even more advantages to those who have no or limited access to traditional banking services.
Commenting on this occasion, Dr. Al-Domur praised UWallet’s outstanding work in providing a safe and reliable e-payment channels to the fund’s beneficiaries, adding that partnering with UWallet has resulted in an obvious improvement in the services provided, an increase in the level of satisfaction among the beneficiaries and an advancement to the fund’s capabilities in light of the digital transformation processes sought by Jordan.
The National Aid Fund is an independent organization that administers the largest cash transfer program in Jordan that protects and supports less fortunate families through recurring or emergency financial assistance.
