Umniah has announced the renewal of its partnership with the Charity Clothing Bank, one of the departments of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) for the sixth consecutive year. This partnership, which will last for a year, falls under the Umniah Al Khair corporate social responsibility program. The program involves collecting clothing from Umniah’s staff, which is then distributed to families benefiting from the clothing bank.
Umniah also launched the ‘Ta’zyleh’ campaign with the aim of motivating and encouraging its employees to donate clothes, toys, and household items that they no longer need but can benefit Jordanian families in need across all governorates of the Kingdom.
Zaid Al-Ibrahim, Chief Commercial Officer of Umniah, expressed appreciation for the successful and longstanding partnership that has linked Umniah with the Charity Clothing Bank. He commended the bank’s continued efforts to reduce the financial burden of families in need throughout the year by providing for their various needs.
Al-Ibrahim also praised Umniah employees for their enthusiastic response to charitable campaigns and initiatives launched and supported by the company, including organizations such as the Charitable Clothing Bank. He indicated that this engagement reflects the bright humanitarian image that Umniah adopts, as well as Umniah’s commitment to promoting noble human values such as giving, solidarity, and compassion for less fortunate Jordanian families within the local community.
Rawan Massadeh, General Manager of the Charity Clothing Bank, stressed the importance of continuing this collaboration, saying, “Our partnership with Umniah has effectively contributed to achieving our vision, which seeks to provide a helping hand to families in need across various regions of the Kingdom.”
The Charity Clothing Bank, a Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) initiative launched in 2013, served over 1,800,000 people and distributed over 8,000,000 pieces of clothing to families in need through showrooms in Amman and Karak, as well as temporary mobile showrooms set up in various governorates throughout the Kingdom during the year.
