Umniah, a subsidiary of the Bahraini Beyon Group, signed a partnership agreement with the Special Operations Forces Exhibition & Conference (SOFEX Jordan).
The agreement was signed on behalf of Umniah by Samer Taha, Chief Financial Officer, and Ahmad Taweel, Chief Executive Officer at SOFEX, in the presence of several officials from both entities.
This partnership agreement coincides with Umniah’s sponsorship of the Artificial Intelligence in Defense Technologies and Cyber Security Exhibition and Conference (AIDTSEC 2023), organized by SOFEX in September 2023.
Iyad Jabr, Chief Business Officer at Umniah said, “The partnership agreement reflects Umniah’s leadership in cybersecurity, demonstrated through its pioneering initiatives such as establishing the first Cyber Security Academy in Jordan, as well as its Security Operations Center (SOC) and Network Operations Center (NOC) which obtained global certifications.”
Jabr added that AIDTSEC showcases Umniah’s capabilities to companies and stakeholders, providing a platform that highlights the latest advancements and attracts new opportunities in the field of cybersecurity. This initiative is supported, sponsored, and prepared by the National Cyber Security Center.
Taweel affirmed the significance of this partnership with Umniah, expressing that it will enhance the value of AIDTSEC, which has a global presence among those interested in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
