Umniah celebrates Mother’s Day at Elderly Home in Fuhais

March 23, 2023 – Under the ‘Umniah Al Kheir’ umbrella, Umniah celebrated Mother’s Day with the residents of the Home of the Human Care in Al-Fuhais on Tuesday. This symbolic and expressive humanitarian step is an expression of gratitude for the significant role that the women have played in developing society and ensuring a bright future for their children.

A group of Umniah employees and their children attended the celebration, which included entertainment, singing, and various activities. Gifts were distributed to the residents in appreciation for their roles in forming families that contribute to society.

Wajeeha Al Husseini, Communication Director at Umniah, congratulated all Jordanian mothers, emphasizing Umniah’s strong belief in the essential role of the Jordanian mother and her role in delivering humanitarian messages to her children, family, and community, and her contribution to the development and advancement of society. Al Husseini stated, “At Umniah, we are very proud of the mothers of this country, who are ideal models of unconditional sacrifice and giving. They are the bright pictures of our past, present, and future, and are the pillars of humanity and true support in building, achievement, and progress.”

Al Husseini indicated that this celebration falls under Umniah’s corporate social responsibility programs, which aims to support various segments of society by launching and contributing to many initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable development at various economic, social, and environmental levels.

This celebration was activated through UVolunteer, in collaboration with the ‘Nahno’ platform – The Platform for National Youth Engagement and Volunteering. The program aims to foster a culture of volunteering among the company’s employees, as well as encourage their contribution to making a difference in Jordanian society. Umniah continues to promote the values of communication, giving, and solidarity among society members, while inspiring young people and preparing them to become productive and active members of their communities.
