Umniah by Beyon continues investing in future generations through its strategic partnership with the JoYS Program for the third consecutive year

July 2026

Reaffirming its ongoing commitment to empowering Jordanian youth, developing future-ready skills, and fostering a culture of innovation, Umniah by Beyon, Jordan’s best mobile network, has renewed its strategic partnership with the JoYS (Junior Young Scientists) Program for the third consecutive year. The partnership supports the program’s National Exhibition, hosted by Al Hussein Technical University at King Hussein Business Park on 26 and 27 June.

The JoYS Program is one of Jordan’s leading national platforms for promoting science, innovation, and scientific research. It provides students aged 12 to 17 from public and private schools, as well as schools affiliated with UNRWA and the Military Culture Directorate, with the opportunity to develop and showcase innovative projects that address real-world challenges through the application of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

This year’s exhibition featured 230 projects submitted by students from across the Kingdom, spanning a wide range of scientific and technological fields, including environmental solutions, renewable energy, robotics, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and other areas of innovation.

Through this partnership, Umniah continues to invest in the next generation of innovators, scientists, and changemakers by supporting a national platform that equips young people with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience needed to transform their ideas into projects with tangible impact. This aligns with Jordan’s vision for digital transformation, sustainable development, and the development of a knowledge- and innovation-driven economy.

The initiative is supported by a broad coalition of national and international partners working across the education, technology, entrepreneurship, and development sectors. These include the Embassy of Ireland, the Ministry of Education, the Crown Prince Foundation, the Queen Rania Foundation, the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j), as well as leading academic institutions such as Al Hussein Technical University and Princess Sumaya University for Technology.

Commenting on the renewed partnership, Dina Al-Daoud, Executive Director of Brand and Corporate Communications at Umniah, said, “Renewing our partnership with the JoYS Program for the third consecutive year reflects our unwavering belief that investing in young minds and nurturing their innovative potential is an investment in Jordan’s future and its ability to compete in the digital economy.”

She added, “At Umniah, we view the program as a leading national platform that empowers students to transform their scientific ideas into practical solutions with real-world impact. It helps cultivate a generation equipped with the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to embrace the opportunities of tomorrow and lead Jordan’s journey of innovation and progress.”

The partnership aligns with Umniah’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which focuses on education, youth empowerment, and building future-ready skills. It also reflects the company’s belief that collaboration between national institutions, academia, and the technology sector is essential to creating an environment where Jordan’s young talent can thrive, develop impactful projects, and contribute meaningfully to the Kingdom’s sustainable development.

The renewed partnership further demonstrates Umniah’s commitment to supporting initiatives that expand opportunities for Jordanian youth and empower them to develop innovative solutions to future challenges. By doing so, the company is helping prepare a generation equipped to contribute to a sustainable knowledge economy and adapt to the rapid pace of technological advancement.

The National Exhibition concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing the winning projects, celebrating the exceptional creativity, innovation, and talent demonstrated by Jordan’s young participants.
