Umniah by Beyon has renewed its ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification for the seventh consecutive year, reflecting its sustained commitment to risk management and to maintaining a safe, digitally enabled work environment.
The certification was renewed by SGS, the globally accredited certification and auditing body, following comprehensive audits covering policies, operational procedures, and the effective implementation of occupational health and safety requirements across Umniah’s operations and worksites.
This milestone underscores the integration of occupational health and safety within Umniah’s business continuity framework, where safety is treated as a core operational priority that supports workforce protection, operational readiness, and long-term sustainability.
As part of this renewal, Umniah by Beyon expanded its use of digital solutions to strengthen field-level compliance and oversight. Through its USafety application, the company has implemented a digital mechanism that ensures no fieldwork can commence unless all occupational health and safety requirements are fully verified in advance.
The system also enables real-time reporting of potential hazards and rapid follow-up, improving response times and reinforcing a proactive safety culture across the organization.
In parallel, Umniah by Beyon continues to enhance emergency preparedness through specialized training programs and ongoing coordination with the Civil Defense Directorate, supporting the safety of employees, customers, and visitors.
