Umniah by Beyon Partners with CEQUENS to Launch an AI-Powered Digital Communications Platform for Businesses

As part of its new strategy and visual identity refresh as one of the Beyon Group companies, Umniah by Beyon, one of Jordan’s leading telecommunications companies, announced a strategic partnership with CEQUENS, a global provider of AI-powered communication solutions, during its participation at GITEX 2025 in Dubai.

The collaboration aims to expand Umniah’s digital offerings for enterprise and government sectors in Jordan and the region by introducing innovative solutions in corporate messaging and interactive communication channels.

Through this partnership, Umniah and CEQUENS have launched a next-generation, AI-powered Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) designed to help organizations communicate more effectively with their customers. The platform provides a comprehensive suite of tools including bulk and targeted SMS services, integration with WhatsApp Business, Facebook, and Instagram APIs, email campaign and push notification management, as well as advanced APIs for seamless customer interaction and intuitive analytics dashboards for performance tracking and reporting.

Commenting on the partnership, Iyad Jabr, Chief Business Officer at Umniah, said, “Our partnership with CEQUENS reflects our mission to bring world-class digital communication platforms to Jordan. Through this innovative solution, we’re empowering organizations to communicate faster and more intelligently using AI-driven, seamless, and scalable communication tools.”

Jaber emphasized the importance and value of this platform in supporting the banking and financial sector by integrating with their systems to send SMS messages that notify customers of financial transactions on their accounts and protect them from fraud through multi-factor authentication (MFA) messages. He added that the platform also provides digital communication channels for customer service such as chatbots and email. Furthermore, it enables public sector institutions to establish multiple communication channels with citizens and residents, aligning with the national digital transformation policy. Additionally, the platform serves small and medium-sized enterprises by offering them a unified space to connect with customers, manage their digital accounts on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, open new interactive channels like WhatsApp Business, and send targeted SMS campaigns for marketing and promotions.

For her part, Nermeen Sobhy, Senior Vice President for Carrier Relations and Wholesale at CEQUENS, expressed her enthusiasm about the collaboration, saying, “We are delighted to work with a leading and trusted partner like Umniah to introduce our innovative communication solutions to the Jordanian market. The partnership announcement ceremony was attended by Mr. Karim Khorshid, CEO and Managing Director of CEQUENS, alongside Eng. Nermin Sobhy and the Umniah team, led by Mr. Iyad Jabr.

The new platform is designed to help organizations in Jordan and beyond transform how they engage with their customers, enhancing communication efficiency, streamlining operations, and enabling access to world-class digital tools backed by Umniah’s trusted local support.

This strategic partnership brings together Umniah’s market strength and local credibility with CEQUENS’s international experience and advanced technologies, offering clients specialized support, improved Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and optimized costs.
