Speedtest Awards by Ookla: Umniah Jordan’s Fastest Mobile Network

Umniah, Jordan’s leading telecommunications service provider, has been named the Kingdom’s fastest mobile network in 2023 by Speedtest Awards™ by Ookla®, the world’s leading network testing and measurement platform.

This achievement, recorded in the third and fourth quarters of 2023, showcases Umniah’s excellence in mobile network speed to its subscribers throughout Jordan. This award was granted based on an analysis of data gathered from Speedtest iOS and Android mobile apps from all the major mobile carriers over a six-month period. The award criteria involved calculating mobile network speeds by assessing 80% of the data download and 20% of the upload speeds from the tests conducted.
