Umniah Further Expands its Fiber Coverage to New Areas in Jordan

Amman – Umniah announced the expansion of its Fiber service to new areas in the Kingdom, in its ongoing effort to provide better services to its customers. This expansion encompasses various new areas across several governorates including Amman, Balqa, Zarqa, and Aqaba.

Coverage of Umniah Fiber services includes areas such as Safout, Ain Al Basha, Mahes, Fuheis, and Al Baqa’a. In addition, Umniah has also extended its services to the Al Safariyat area in Madaba, the Al Mahdood area in Aqaba, Um Uthaina and Umm Blaneh – Shafa Badran in the capital Amman, in addition to Al Jabal Al Abyad area in Zarqa. With this expansion, Umniah’s Fiber service now covers over one million homes and commercial establishments.

Earlier this year, Umniah announced fiber expansion to include the North and South of Madaba, Abdoun Al Janobi, Deir Ghbar, Abdoun Al Shamali, Sweifieh, Al Hashmi Al Shamali, Marj Al Hamam and Qurtobah – Zarqa.

Umniah’s Chief Commercial Officer, Zaid Al-Ibrahim, said that the customers will experience a significant increase in internet speeds with Umniah’s Fiber. This will meet the needs of subscribers who work remotely or need to download large files, while also offering a seamless browsing experience, high-quality streaming, and the ability to watch high-definition videos.
Al-Ibrahim further stated that Umniah aims to extend its fiber service to cover all regions of the Kingdom, improving its infrastructure, and providing high-speed connections, while providing users with a new and different experience.

Al-Ibrahim emphasized Umniah’s eagerness to continue implementing its expansion strategy and investing in its high-speed Fiber network to provide the most recent technological developments in this field while taking into consideration the competitive prices of the service.
It is worth mentioning that Umniah’s Fiber service currently covers a significant portion of the Kingdom, bringing high-speed connectivity to numerous areas.
