The Forsa Initiative, launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Madarsati Initiative, aims to support the education sector. Over five years, the initiative has focused on rehabilitating and renovating sports fields and playgrounds in public schools across the governorates, as well as providing them with sports equipment. With an investment of over one million Jordanian dinars, we have successfully rehabilitated 17 public schools to date, benefiting more than 11,000 students and more than 44,000 community members. As part of this initiative, we collaborated with the Ezzat Marji Group to rehabilitate the As-Sarih Elementary School for Boys playground. We also launched a campaign in collaboration with the Jordan Paramedic Society, to raise awareness about the principles of public health and safety. This involved first aid training courses, equipping playgrounds with health and safety instructions, ensuring safe play areas, and establishing designated assembly points in each school.
Furthering our commitment, the Student Support Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which owns a 4% share of Umniah’s shares, provides loans and grants to students unable to complete their studies at official Jordanian universities.
For the next three years, we have renewed our partnership for the Connectivity Project with the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Special Communications Commission (SCC). This project aims to build essential infrastructure to seamlessly integrate technology into the education process, thereby improving efficiency across more than 3,500 schools, 112 directorates, and administrative buildings. The Connectivity Project, which we initiated in 2016, is Jordan’s largest and most groundbreaking initiative in harnessing information and communication technology for education. This initiative seeks to enhance productivity by providing integrated communication solutions within schools, enhancing educational outcomes, and equipping students with the necessary skills for their future endeavors.
Our Cybersecurity Academy has conducted training courses for students from Princess Sumaya University for Technology, the Jordan University for Science and Technology, Al Hussein Technical University, and Al-Ahliyya Amman University, benefiting more than 150 students. We have also offered cybersecurity training to several recent engineering graduates, advancing their knowledge and equipping them with skills needed for success in the job market.
Health
Good health is a cornerstone of well-being and productivity. We support national health priorities through awareness campaigns, partnerships, and programs that reach communities nationwide. Our long-term partnership with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center includes SMS campaigns, donations, and awareness initiatives. We also support specialized causes such as the Parkinson Society and the Royal Health Awareness Society’s Healthy Schools Program.

Through our Umniah Al Khair program, we strengthen social cohesion and provide relief to vulnerable groups. We collaborate with partners such as the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, Tkiyet Um Ali, the Jordan River Foundation, and Waqf Thareed to deliver food campaigns, disaster relief, and emergency support. In Ramadan 2024, we provided thousands of meals to families in Gaza through a joint initiative with JHCO and the Jordanian Armed Forces.
Environment:

Sustainability is central to our strategy. From investing in renewable energy to promoting eco-friendly practices, we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint and supporting Jordan’s transition to a greener future. Our solar farms in Mafraq, Al-Dulail, Al-Hallabat, and Azraq generate around 20 gigawatts, reducing 11.5 kilotons of CO2 annually. We also promote awareness through employee tree planting, recycling, and green schools programs.
Youth & Sports
We see youth as drivers of change. Our investments in sports and innovation create opportunities for empowerment, healthier lifestyles, and community inclusion. We support leading Jordanian football clubs including Al-Wehdat, Al-Faisaly, Sahab, and Al-Ramtha, contributing to sustainable development of Jordan’s sports sector.
UVolunteer
Our employees are at the heart of our social impact. Through UVolunteer, staff dedicate time and skills to initiatives in education, health, environment, and community development. In 2024, 239 employees contributed 565 volunteer hours, the highest participation since the program’s launch.
