Umniah Appoints Faisal Al Jalahma as Interim CEO

Umniah, a subsidiary of the Bahraini Beyon Group, has announced the appointment of Faisal Al Jalahma as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective April 21, 2025.

In this role, Al Jalahma will oversee Umniah’s operations while continuing to fulfill his responsibilities at Beyon. His appointment ensures a continuity of leadership and leverages his extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors.

With nearly two decades of experience spanning both public and private sectors, Al Jalahma has held leadership roles at Batelco, Beyon, and Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority. He also currently chairs the boards of Beyon’s Digital City Development Company and TOTAL CX and serves on the boards of Dhiraagu in the Maldives and Gulf Air Group in Bahrain.
