Cookies: Analyzing Data to Drive Growth

With the use of AI and smart systems, Jordanian Engineers Khaled Abudari and Khalid Alwalid joined hands to create an easy-to-use software that enables businesses to operate smoothly and accurately, ultimately aiming to extract data and key information for better growth prospects.

Seamless and Efficient Tools

“As data continues to be an influential factor in the corporate world, we wanted to create intelligent business solutions that efficiently and effectively analyze it,” explained Abudari as he highlighted the startup’s work.

“What we ended up doing was use our collective experiences and backgrounds to build SAS (Statistical Analysis System) software based on customizable solutions and ERP systems to help our customers navigate their data in an optimal way.”

To put it simply, through this customizable software, businesses can easily extract the data they require, automate their redundant processes, and take advantage of a seamless experience that is uniquely designed for them.

Cookies integrates smart technologies with the business’ systems while linking all its departments together and to the cloud. This process enables quick access to concise data and information that can be easily decoded for better results.

For Everybody’s Needs

According to Abudari, “We understand the trepidation and apprehension associated with data. And because not everyone is familiar with how to use raw information to their advantage, our goal was to create an easy-to-use software that can do a job well done.”

Through this software, businesses can design all the tools needed the way it best suits their goals and aspirations. Their data will be consolidated into one place, easy to extract and analyze, and most importantly, the uniform process will enable them to drive the necessary reports for their growth and development.

The Tank’s Powerful Effect

It can get quite tough for an entrepreneur, particularly when you are starting out. “We were only two people in a sea of strategists and thinkers,” Abudari commented.

Abudari added that despite their knowledge on the operational side. They lacked the proper tools and entrepreneurial skills to create a successful startup. However, after their time at The Tank by Umniah, they were introduced to programs and opportunities that cultivated their skills and helped bridge the gap between knowledge and practice.

“The Tank was an absolutely brilliant experience,” admitted Abudari. “Today, we realize more than ever before the key role they have played in our growth and success.”

As he recalled back all the fond memories and the journey that led him here. Abudari wanted to share a message with the young generation looking to thrive in the startup ecosystem. “If you build your ideas on doubt and failure, you will never know success. ITS: Where Translation Meets Innovation

Translating from one language to another isn’t a piece of cake. And while there are lots of tools at your disposal with the increase in technological advancements, there’s a certain flair to human translation that can’t be imitated.

Jordanian startup ITS understands both: the need for advanced tools that can deliver fast results and the necessity of having a human touch to your work. So, to leverage on innovative tools and create a service that’s human yet is still unique, Jordanian cofounders Zeina Abu Leil and Ali Barakat created Innovate Translation Services, otherwise known as ITS!

From the Ground Up!

Following the aftermath of the pandemic, Abu Leil found herself without a job. As a translator with more than 7 years of experience in the tech industry, she refused to let it all go easily.

“Her brain never stopped functioning,” Barakat admitted, recalling the events that led him and his partner to create ITS. “It continuously sought ways to ride the wave of digitization, as did all other companies, and combine her passion for linguistics with her expertise in tech.”

After a sudden epiphany, Abu Leil decided to recruit Barakat to help her better visualize her thoughts. The two discussed ideas together until they birthed ITS.

Technology, Language, and Human Relationships

Offering multiple services, from translation to copywriting, and delivering material in minimal time yet with high-quality seems surreal. But the reason this startup does it so well is because they rely on a powerful translation software that helps them get the job done smoothly, efficiently, and accurately.

“Our software identifies patterns in translation along with keywords and tonality overview that help our translators deliver more accurate results.”

Barakat further explained that technology is only one of ITS’ success pillar. Their relationship with their clients and the constructive briefs and feedbacks they receive helps them leverage on the power of their technological tools to drive error and hassle-free results.

The Tank: A Beacon of Light

As previously stated, Barakat and Abu Leil struggled to map out their path towards creating their startup. From incubation to licenses, they didn’t know where to head to and what to do.

“Thanks to The Tank by Umniah, we managed to receive the necessary mentorship we needed. We were also exposed to several guides that helped us create our business plan, map out our operations, and understand the legal requirements needed to build our startup,” Barakat admitted. He recalled his experience at the Tank along with some heartfelt memories, expressing that it was “the most life-changing experience in ways that defy expectations.”

Finally, Barakat explained the future plans ITS is working to achieve, hoping to grow its network and further prosper. “I’d like to use this opportunity to send a message to those that are in the same place I stood years ago,” the entrepreneur said. “Every hard time is a lesson learned. Learn from the experiences as they are meant to shape you and not break you.”

Math Achievers: Learning Through Mental Games

Math had always been and remains a critical subject students need to grasp, as we counter it in our everyday lives.

To make math easier and persistent in young children’s lives, entrepreneur and math genius, Yazan Tadros, created “Math Achievers” an application that makes learning math more fun!

The Incentive

“When I was young, I was particularly gifted with math,” recalled Tadros as he looked back at his time at school. “I never shied away from a test or a competition to the point where I ended up on the cover of our local newspaper.”

Driven by his love for numbers and cracking complex equations, Tadros became a math teacher. As he transitioned from student to instructor, he soon realized how much students struggled to grasp the material.

To encourage his students to appreciate the subject and learn in a fun manner, he decided to develop an interactive mobile application.

Gaming as a Competitive Advantage

This generation is enthralled by technology. As kids engage in gaming and surfing the web, Tadros decided to leverage on that when developing Math Achievers.

“Through the use of fun and intellectual gaming challenges, the aim of the app is to help children between the age of 5 and 12 to develop their math skills,” the entrepreneur explained.

The application works on increasing their focus, retaining their memory, and enabling them to solve problems faster.

Cultivating Minds

Through the application, children will have the opportunity to practice and challenge their friends for a chance to win rewards, and because many children love to compete against one another, this serves as an extra push towards practicing mental mathematics.

“The games are as interactive as they are fun,” explained Tadros. “They stimulate children’s minds and keep them entertained. This was most proven during the pandemic when several of our users used the app to kill time and learn all at once while they were stuck at home.”

The Tank as a Lighthouse

According to Tadros, The Tank by Umniah served as a lighthouse that guided the startup safely towards the shore. Through their networking opportunities, consultations, meetings and several other activities, they provided Math Achievers with not only guidance but a set of skills that is pivotal when it comes to entrepreneurship.

On a final note, Yazan Tadros wished to send a message to all aspiring entrepreneurs looking to kickstart their entrepreneurial journey. “The road will start off as impossible to cross before you realize it’s filled with many hindrances. But as long as you know where your next step lies, there’s nothing to be afraid of.”

Engagesoft: Driving Organizational Success

Business owners, managers, and avid business readers know that the key to organizational success is its employees. Whenever employees are engaged at work, they tend to yield better results, mostly reflected in terms of greater brand positioning, higher customer satisfaction, and more profit.

All those at the top of the corporate hierarchy relentlessly work on keeping their employees engaged, but the truth is, employee engagement is not an easy task. So, to ease the process and help businesses increase employee engagement, Jordanian entrepreneur Tareq Tahboub decided to put his computer skills to work and develop the right solution: Engagesoft.

An Insight Into Engagesoft

Two years after his graduation from Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Tahboub was offered the chance to work at a Japanese software company. “The move to Japan was enlightening,” Tahboub explained. “While being there, I didn’t just cultivate and sharpen my skills, but I was inspired to create Engagesoft.”

According to Tahboub, the Japanese work culture was more structured and disciplined than he had seen in Jordan. Leaders were very keen on enforcing a better corporate culture that yielded higher employee engagement. After seeing all the success their efforts generated, Tahboub returned to the kingdom and opened his own software company. He went on to create Engagesoft: a software that enables organizations to increase employee engagement through the use of data analytics and AI.

The Software’s Anatomy

Tahboub wanted to develop a tool that will build a comprehensive understanding of employee engagement and enable managers to create action plans and measure their impact. So, he made sure to integrate all that in his software.

“Engagesoft identifies employee engagement levels, evaluates the insights it captured, and enables the management team to develop a structured plan to address gaps and leverage on opportunities,” Tahboub commented.

The analyzed data reflects employee life cycles, exit analysis, and work inquiries, which permits to study managerial actions when company leaders address issues. After all the data is collected, Engagesoft generates reports to identify strengths and areas to work on.

The Obstacles Along the Way

The entrepreneurial path is littered with challenges and obstacles. During the discussion, Tahboub recalled that aside from figuring out the mechanics of the software, he found the research part to be the most hectic. “We needed to identify engagement attributes and factors to be included and analyzed in order to generate reports and plans. This required a lot of reflection and a hefty amount of research.”

The pandemic didn’t make things easier. Tahboub had to postpone the launch of Engagesoft and feared that with the new “Work From Home” policies would drastically influence sales.

The Tank: Building the Future

“We were exposed to various opportunities thanks to The Tank by Umniah,” declared Tahboub. “What my startup benefitted from the most was undoubtedly the consultation sessions and the networking opportunities.”

Tahboub praised the incubator and its staff, explaining that it was a natural choice for him. Despite the knowledge he had accumulated over the years, he was surprised to know that there was still so much to learn. And thanks to the team at The Tank, he managed to gather sufficient knowledge to build his startup.

With plans to increase his offerings and enrich his current model, Tareq Tahboub expresses his excitement for the future. He wanted to leave a final message to all the aspiring entrepreneurs, urging them to keep on creating as much as they can. “You have the ability to come up with infinite ideas. Find the one you love, build something beautiful, and don’t stop until you bring it to life.”

SpaceDeco Showcases Designers and Architects

An Insight Into SpaceDeco

According to Sara Al Khatib, SpaceDeco’s founder, the startup is an online platform that showcases Jordanian talents’ work in the field of interior architecture and design. It serves to connect local talents to those who seek design and furnishing services by accentuating the work of independent freelancers and displaying them online.

“I’ve always craved independent work, but I never knew how hard it was to market your skills and find clients when there are so many people who are trying to do the same,” admitted Al Khatib. She explained that 8 years after working in the corporate world, she took a leap of faith and decided to become a freelance interior architect.

Following the trials faced, and with the aim of helping all those who share her struggle, she decided to create her startup. “SpaceDeco’s main objective is to connect freelancers with people seeking design and furnishing services, playing a pivotal role in not only decreasing the gap between supply and demand but also allowing local talents to effectively market themselves.”

The Ins and Out of The Startup

SpaceDeco targets interior architects and designers looking to either leave the rigid corporate world or dip their toes in the freelance realm. “Think of us as a niche marketplace,” Al Khatib said. After seeking out the aforementioned talents, or them reaching out to us, we closely monitor their work. When the quality of work is deemed suitable, we share their project’s deliverables with our clients. As for how the process goes, we typically match the client with the top 3 interior architects and designers that meet the client’s needs, style and budget, for them to pick out who they think is the best fit for their project.”

Challenges and Opportunities

According to Al Khatib, the greatest challenge she has faced, and is still facing, is securing funding. “Currently, SpaceDeco is a self-funded project. However, I’m continuously seeking programs to help accelerate the startup’s development and propel it forward.”

As for when she was asked about the pandemic, which was seen as a major challenge for businesses, Al Khatib thought of it more of an opportunity. “The pandemic didn’t just raise the demand for digitization, but it also increased the demand for freelancers. Concurrently, it was the driving force that made me create SpaceDeco.”

How The Tank Impacted the Startup?

“The Tank by Umniah has been very supportive since start. From financial management workshops to one-on-one coaching and networking opportunities, they have aided me in receiving my vocational license and followed up on SpaceDeco’s progress to make sure it achieves bigger milestones throughout the incubation journey,” Al Khatib shared as she recalled her experience at the Tank.

On a final note, Sara addressed young Jordanians and entrepreneurs in general, encouraging them to keep on dreaming big and never giving up.

“When you have an idea that you wholeheartedly believe in, don’t give up. Find ways to keep yourself motivated despite all the challenges and bumps on the road and keep on going.” Sara concluded.

ThirdEye: Fostering Efficient Production

The key to keeping business operations thriving is finding the right solutions that optimize production, minimize errors, and offer an insight into processes to allow managers and all those involved to easily detect errors and address them and pinpoint growth opportunities.

Jordanian entrepreneur Anas Abd el Rahman takes the phrase “work smarter not harder” to heart, applying it literally and figuratively throughout his work, particularly as he created ThirdEye: a smart end-to-end solution that relies on ThirdEye data to increase operation efficiency and help businesses reach their production goals faster while alleviating mistakes and risks of failure.

What is ThirdEye and How Does it Work?

“ThirdEye is an end-to-end solution that consists of the ThirdEye data collection hardware and the web-based ThirdEye application. By incorporating ThirdEye’s sensors into your factory’s production, you will be able to collect data from anywhere in your factory, use build-in analytics that will generate reports and detailed data to detect shortages and growth opportunities, thus making your production more efficient and profitable,” explained Abd el Rahman.

The implementation of this solution is simple, whereby it doesn’t require IT support. Using AI technology and cloud-based computing, this solution will track production, supply factories with Overall Equipment Effectiveness “OEE” (the Gold Standard for measuring manufacturing productivity) and out-put flow data, and track downtime.

The Challenges Faced Along the Way

Abd el Rahman stated that he never found himself within the academic realm, which is why he immersed himself directly in the field rather than enroll in college. “From a young age, I’ve always felt drawn to all those quirky things that had to do with computer and data,” the Jordanian entrepreneur said. While Abd el Rahman didn’t pursue a degree in the field of computer science nor programming, or any degree for that matter, he attended courses at Sayegh Center at the age of sixteen and worked to build up his startup Tishfeer, and later offer his promising product—ThirdEye.

However, several investors were weary of his choice, which made it difficult to market his solution. “Many people assume that a degree is cardinal for success and they frown upon all those who don’t possess one,” Abd el Rahman stated. “So, the challenge became proving the efficiency of my solutions depend less on my academic standing and more on my professional experience and skills.”

How the Tank Helped in Bringing ThirdEye to Light

“I chose The Tank as an incubator because of its nurturing environment that relentlessly works on helping startups stand on their feet and prosper,” Abd el Rahman admitted. He went on to explain

that the thorough guidance—financially, emotionally, and technically—along with the training and networking opportunities received helped enrich ThirdEye’s module and set the pace towards its success.

On a final note, the Jordanian entrepreneur wanted to supply young minds with an important lesson he learned. “What truly defines a person is their ability to persevere despite all the obstacles on the way. حصاد 2021: الريادة في الاردن تزرع الأمل

وبالحديث عن الريادة، حقق الأردنيون إنجازت في قطاعات متنوعة منها: قطاع الألعاب الإلكترونية، البرمجة، ريادة الأعمال، التقنية، الصناعات الإبداعية، البحث العلمي والقطاع الأكاديمي من مختلف التخصصات.

وفيما يلي رصد أجرته “الغد” لأبرز هذه الإنجازات التي حققها الأردنيون في العام 2021:

يحيى المجالي

حصل الطالب يحيى المجالي والمبتعث من جامعة مؤتة لدراسة الدكتوراه في الهندسة الميكانيكية في جامعة “أوهايو الأميركية” على دعم بقيمة مليون دولار لدعم فكرة مشروعه الذي اقترحه لوزارة الطاقة الأميركية>

ويقوم على استخدام مخلفات تعدين الكربون في صناعة ألياف يمكن طباعتها عن طريق طابعات ثلاثية الأبعاد.

“حماية تيك”

تأهلت 3 شركات ناشئة عاملة في مجال الأمن السيبراني للدخول في الفوج الأول لحاضنة “حماية تيك”، وهي شركات “GoGlobal” و”C-Guards” و”CtrlRoot”.

و”حماية تيك” هي أول حاضنة أعمال متخصصة في الأمن السيبراني، تدار من قبل جمعية “إنتاج” ومجلس الشركات الناشئة، بالشراكة مع “زين” الأردن ومنصة زين للإبداع، وبدعم من صندوق الريادة الأردني.

“جامعة الأميرة سمية”

فاز فريقان من قسم علم البيانات، في كلية الملك الحسين لعلوم الحوسبة في جامعة الأميرة سمية للتكنولوجيا، في المسابقة العالمية هاكاثون التعلم الآلي للعلوم (ML4SCI)، التي نظمتها جامعتا الأباما وبراون الأميركيتان، بمشاركة عشرات الجامعات العالمية>

كما وتوج فريق ثالث من الجامعة بطلا لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا في المسابقة الدولية للبرمجة لطلبة جامعات العالم، التي أقيمت في موسكو.

“فيافي”

فازت شركة “فيافي” الناشئة الأردنية ومن بين 600 شركة حول العالم، بالمسابقة التي أطلقتها منظمة السياحة العالمية حول “الشركات الناشئة والسياحة الريفية العالمية”.

وتدير الشركة منصة تقدم حلولا مبتكرة وإلكترونية لعرض وتسويق الأعمال السياحية في المناطق الريفية والنائية.

تسنيم الحراحشة

سجلت الباحثة الأردنية تسنيم الحراحشة إنجازا أردنيا في ملتقى التحدي والابتكار في قطر؛ حيث جرى تكريمها بالميدالية الفضية في المسابقة الفردية عن مشروعها وهو جهاز للكشف المبكر عن سرطان الثدي.

وذلك من بين 100 مشارك ومخترع، وحصلت كذلك مع فريق من جنسيات مختلفة على المركز الأول في “الهاكاثون” عن ابتكارهم جهازا صغير الحجم وقليل التكلفة للحفاظ على الخصوصية ومنع تسجيل أصوات الأفراد.

عبدالله أبو خلف

توج الطالب الأردني عبدالله محمد مراد أبو خلف بلقب “بطل تحدي القراءة العربي” في دورته الخامسة،.

منتزعاً اللقب من بين أكثر من 21 مليون طالب من 52 دولة، و96 ألف مدرسة، و120 ألف مشرف للقراءة،.

فيما نالت مدرسة “الحصاد التربوي” الأردنية المركز الثاني في فئة المدرسة المتميزة في هذا التحدي العربي.

برنامج “تكوين”

أنجز المعهد الثقافي الألماني “غوته” الأردن برنامج “تكوين” لدعم المصممين، وخصوصا في مواجهة التحديات التي خلفتها أزمة كورونا،.

وذلك بالتعاون مع مسرعة “إبداع” التابعة لشركة المتكاملة لتنمية المشاريع الريادية و”تويلف ديغريز” اللذين شاركا المعهد في إنجاز مشروعين (برنامجين فرعيين تحت مظلة “تكوين”)، هما: برنامج تكوين لتسريع الشركات الناشئة الذي استفادت منه 4 شركات، وبرنامج زمالة تصميم المنتجات: نحو الاستدامة والقدرة على التكيف وقد ضم 14 مشاركاً.

عبد الكريم الدبيسي

حصل الباحث الدكتور عبدالكريم الدبيسي من كلية الإعلام بجامعة الشرق الأوسط، على المرتبة الأولى ضمن قائمة الـ10 مؤلفين الأكثر تأثيرا في مجال علوم الإعلام والاتصال في العالم العربي، وفق التقرير السنوي 2021، لمعامل التأثير والاستشهادات المرجعية للمجلات العلمية العربية “أرسيف”.

منى لطوف

ترشحت الأردنية منى لطوف مؤسسة شركة “UserTestingArabic” من بين 63 سيدة ريادية من 18 دولة لخوض غمار برنامج يدعم السيدات الرياديات في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال افريقيا وأوروبا.
شركة “موسوعة”:

شاركت الشركة الريادية الأردنية “موسوعة” حاليا في الموسم الثاني لبرنامج مسرعة جوجل للأعمال الناشئة، وذلك بعد أن جرى اختيارها في قائمة تضم 12 شركة ناشئة من المنطقة العربية للمشاركة والاستفادة من هذا البرنامج.

سحر المشاقبة

فازت الباحثة الدكتورة سحر المشاقبة من كلية الهندسة- قسم الهندسة الصناعية في الجامعة الهاشمية بمشروع الديزل الحيوي المستخلص من زيوت الطهي، بين أكثر من 200 مشروع على مستوى المملكة في برنامج يعنى بالاقتصاد الأخضر الذي نظم من قبل (تي تي آي)، وهي منظمة تهتم بالجانبين الريادي والتكنولوجي.

شركة “ألجبرا”

أعلنت مجلة “فوربس” الشرق الأوسط المختصة بالمال والأعمال عن قائمتها لأفضل 10 شركات ناشئة مستدامة في الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، وضمت القائمة شركة “ألجبرا” الأردنية، التي تأسست العام 2020 على يد أحمد الطوافشة وعلاء الغويري.

وتمكنت الشركة في العام 2021 من استقطاب استثمارات بقيمة 310 آلاف دولار.

كأس العالم للريادة

نظمت منصة “زين” للإبداع “زينك”، بالتعاون مع مركز الملكة رانيا للريادة، التصفيات المؤهلة لكأس العالم لريادة الأعمال التي أسفرت عن فوز عمر أسعد مؤسس شركة “نيرو تيك” بالمركز الأول، وكل من عبدالله الغويري وعزيز السجدي بالمركز الثاني عن شركة “سافي”، فيما حل علي الشيخ بالمركز الثالث بشركة “دار علي”.

الأسبوع العالمي للريادة

نجح أسبوع الريادة العالمي في الأردن، العام الحالي، من استقطاب 12.4 ألف مشارك من مختلف محافظات المملكة، استفادوا من 400 فعالية، حيث أشرف مركز الملكة رانيا للريادة في جامعة الأميرة سمية للتكنولوجيا على تنظيم فعاليات هذا الأسبوع بشراكة استراتيجية مع شركة “زين” الأردن، وبالتعاون مع 83 شريكا.

جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا

حازت جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا الأردنية المركز الأول في “البطولة الوطنية الأولى لمناظرات الجامعات باللغة العربية”، التي نظمتها جامعة الحسين التقنية بالتعاون مع المؤسسة الوطنية للمناظرات، وحلت جامعة الشرق الأوسط في المركز الثاني، فيما حل فريق جامعة الأميرة سمية بالمركز الثالث.

مسابقة للمشاريع الريادية في الجامعات

تفوقت 4 مشاريع ريادية بمسابقة للمشاريع الريادية على مستوى الجامعات الأردنية انعقدت ضمن فعاليات الأسبوع العالمي للريادة في الأردن.

وأفضت النتائج النهائية لمسابقة المشاريع الريادية للجامعات عن فوز مشروع “Ar-ena” من جامعة الشرق الأوسط على المركز الأول، ومشروع “Smart water management system” من الجامعة الأردنية على المركز الثاني.

فيما ذهب المركز الثالث مناصفة بين “Smart Cart” من جامعة عمان الأهلية، ومشروع “Virtual patient Clinic” من الجامعة الأردنية

برنامج “الريادي الصغير”

انعقدت في 2021، المسابقة الوطنية لريادة الأعمال لليافعين التي تشرف عليها مؤسسة “انتروجيت” بدعم شركة “أورانج” الأردن لتعزيز مهارات الريادة والابتكار لدى طلبة المدارس ضمن الفئة العمرية (12-17 عاماً)، وتأهل لنهائيات المسابقة 25 فريقاً من مختلف محافظات المملكة.

برنامج الريادة المجتمعية

شهد العام 2021 تنظيم “برنامج الريادة المجتمعية” الذي أشرفت عليه “دوت” الأردن بالشراكة مع “ستارتوفيا”، والممول من وزارة الشؤون الخارجية الكندية وشاركت في تحكيمه حاضنة أمنية لريادة الأعمال.

Finding an Opportunity

ScholaScope’s founder and CEO, Majd Khodari, started this website after countless struggles that he went through trying to find a scholarship opportunity. The process itself was hectic, time-consuming, and complicated, resulting in several students giving up their applications and heading to third-party agents to apply on their behalf. With that in mind, Khodari started ScholaScope with the vision that education is for everyone, and opportunities should be easier to access.

How ScholaScope works is very straightforward. Students create an account and fill out their profile, and then their requirements are matched with different opportunities using artificial intelligence. This not only helps them save time, but it also focuses on the opportunities that best meet the requirements.

“This platform is dedicated to students and universities where both parties can connect with each other and have access to thousands of opportunities,” Khodari says.

ScholaScope arose from Khodari’s personal experience and then from LinkedIn, a platform that connected job seekers with job opportunities. As a result, this concept appealed to Khodari, who came up with a similar idea of matching education seekers with educational institutions.

Eliminating the Middleman

Students can now apply to universities directly through ScholaScope, without the assistance of a third party. Applications are typically processed in two weeks to two months, and students can create a profile and search for opportunities using the platform’s filters.

“I find it difficult to believe that university applications are not completed in most cases; nearly 80% of students turn to third parties to apply on their behalf, even if they can’t afford it,” Khodari says.

ScholaScope intends to simplify the application process to universities around the world by unifying the application process. This means that through the platform, a single application can be submitted to multiple universities.

This method will be revolutionary in the admissions world, helping to elevate the experience of both parties in order to make the process faster and more efficient in an organized and reliable manner.

“The opportunities being offered and the number of students looking for them keeps growing,” Khodari says, “and that number never ceases to amaze me.” “Many students look for these opportunities but have no guidance on where to find all their needs in one place, wasting time and money, which is not what ScholaScope believes pursuing an education should be about,” he continues.

According to Khodari, despite the fact that the education industry is constantly expanding, the growing market size of SchloaScope’s competitors surprised Khodri because of the governmental limitations and restrictions educational platforms faced, “Our dedication and belief at ScholaScope allowed us to go through obstacles leading to surprising results,” Khodari says.

جاءت انطلاقة الأسبوع العالميّ لريادة الأعمال عام 2007 عقب حدثي أسبوع المشاريع في المملكة المتحدّة وأسبوع ريادة الأعمال في الولايات المتحدّة، وتعتبر

منظم ّ ة يوينغ ماريون كوفمان غير الرّبحية في ولاية ميسوري، الجهة المؤسّسة لهذا الحدث بهدف تحقيق الاستقلال الاقتصادي للأفراد وتمكينهم من المساهمة في تحسين مجتمعاتهم.

تشارك في الحدث 180 دولة حول العالم في أنشطة حشد المشاركين وبناء شبكة من المنّظمات الشّريكة وتعريف الجمهور بأبرز اتّجاهات الريادة العالميّة، حيث شارك في هذا الحدث السّنوي منذ تأسيسه أكثر من 10 ملايين شخص في أكثر من 102 دولة.

أسبوع الرّيادة العالميّ 2021: التّركيز على التّعافي الاقتصادي في أعقاب جائحة كوفيد-19

انطلق أسبوع الرّيادة العالميّ هذا العام خلال الفترة من 8 تشرين الثّاني/نوفمبر وحتى 14 تشرين الثّاني/نوفمبر بهدف تحقيق التّعافي الاقتصادي خصوصاً في أعقاب جائحة كوفيد-19 وتداعياتها الاقتصادية في جميع أنحاء العالم.

شهد هذا العام تنظيم 40 ألف حدث في 180 دولة حول العالم بمشاركة ما يزيد على 20 ألف شريك و10 ملايين شخص، وتركّزت على أربعة مواضيع رئيسيّة شملت التّعليم، ونظام العمل، والسياسات، والشموليّة.

وبالإضافة إلى هذه الأنشطة، عُقِدت 12 فعاليّة رئيسيّة حول العالم استهدفت روّاد الأعمال وأصحاب الشّركات الصّغيرة وتمحورت حول القيادة والابتكار وكيفيّة تعزيز مشاركة روّاد الأعمال في الاقتصادات الوطنيّة.

الاتّجاهات المستقبليّة للرّيادة العالميّة: تطوّر قائم على التكنولوجيا

كي يستطيع الرّياديون أن يتّجهوا نحو المستقبل، يتعيّن عليهم أخذ عدد من الاتّجاهات المستقبليّة في عين الاعتبار وتعتمد هذه الاتّجاهات بصورة رئيسيّة على التّكنولوجيا.

وتشمل هذه الات ّ جاهات تبنّي تقنيات إنترنت الأشياء بوصفها مستقبل الأعمال، حيث تشير التوّقعات إلى أنّ إنترنت الأشياء سينمو ليبلغ 1.4 تريليون دولار بحلول عام 2027.

كما تعدّ التّطبيقات التي يمكن تطويرها دون أكواد من الاتّجاهات الأخرى أيضاً، بالإضافة إلى الحملات عبر البريد الإلكترونيّ، والاعتماد على المؤثرّين في مجال التّكنولوجيا، وتطوير المحتوى، واستقطاب المواهب المتخصّصة، وبناء مجتمعات روّاد الأعمال الهادفة لتبادل الخبرات ومشاركة المعلومات.

ومن أبرز الاتّجاهات الفاعلة أيضاً تقديم الدّعم لروّاد الأعمال وتمكينهم من النموّ وتحقيق أهدافهم الاقتصاديّة بالإضافة إلى المساهمة في نموّ المجتمعات والاقتصادات على حدّ سواء.

في إطار الاحتفالات الدّولية بأسبوع الرّيادة العالميّة في الأردنّ، تمّ تنظيم 400 فعاليّة برعاية صاحبة السمو الملكي الأميرة سمية بنت الحسن رئيس مجلس أمناء جامعة الأميرة سمّية، وجاهيّاً وعبر تقنية الاتّصال المرئيّ وضمن عدد من المحاور أبرزها؛ التّعليم ودوره في تعزيز روح الرّيادة والابتكار، ومحور السّياسة ودور الحكومة في ازدهار ريادة الأعمال، والعقبات الّتي يواجهها روّاد الأعمال من الفئات السّكانية المحرومة، إضافة إلى طرح حلول من خلال قصص النجاح، والتدريب والإرشاد.

كما عقدت حاضنة أمنية لريادة الأعمال The Tank عدداً من الجلسات هدفت إلى مساعدة الشّركات النّاشئة على استقطاب المستثمرين وزيادة الوعي بما يتعلق بالأمن السّيبراني واحتياجات السّوق.

وفي جلسة حول أساليب العرض التّقديمي النّاجح تطرّق المؤسس والشريك الإداري ل Nama Ventures محمد الزّعبي إلى أفضل الممارسات لتطوير عرض تقديمي ناجح يستطيع من خلاله روّاد الأعمال استقطاب المستثمرين.

وفي الوقت الّذي تتعاظم فيه أهمّية الأمن السّيبراني، سلّط خبير الأمن السّيبراني عدي عبد الرّحمن الضّوء على أهمّ المفاهيم الخاصّة بالأمن السيبراني وكيفيّة حماية بيانات ومعلومات الشّركات.

كما عقدت جلسة حول ريادة الأعمال بصورة عامّة تناول فيها المدرّب فادي بترو أبرز المواضيع الخاصّة بالشّركات الناشئة والّتي تشمل التّعريف بمنتجات الشّركات ونموّ الإيرادات ومراقبة اكتساب العملاء وغيرها من المواضيع.
