مع بداية انتشار شبكة الإنترنت ظهر أول متصفح للشبكة أو ما يعرف بالانكليزية Web browser عام 1991 وحمل اسم ورلد وايد ويب (WorldWideWeb)، ليتوالى ظهور وانتشار المتصفحات. فما هو المتصفح؟
هو برنامج يتيح استرجاع المعلومات عبر الإنترنت وعرضها على المستخدم وقد تحتوي صفحة المستخدم على فيديوهات أو الصور أو أي محتوى آخر.
تنوّعت المتصفحات على امتداد السنوات وتطوّرت خصائصها من ناحية السرعة والأداء والأمان. ومع كل عام تبرز قائمة بأفضل المتصفحات وأحدثها.

من جهتها، عملت شركة أمنية على توفير سرعات اتصال عالية لمستخدميها في الأردن، الأمر الذي يتيح المجال أمامهم لاختيار المتصفح الأفضل والأسرع. وتقدم الشركة حزم متكاملة لخدمة الانترنت المنزلي – عنوان الإنترنت الثابت وهو كناية عن رمز عددي إلكتروني يصدر عن جهاز كمبيوتر يعطي عنوان إنترنت دائم مبني على بروتوكول الإنترنت، ويمكن استخدامه لتحديد الموقع والتفاعل مع المواقع الأخرى والتصفح الآمن المجاني للإنترنت .

في هذه السطور نقدم لكم قائمة العام 2018 ومن خلالها يمكن للقارى اختيار ما يناسبه أو الإبقاء على متصفحه الحالي:

Mozilla Firefox
خضع هذا التحديث الذي يُعد الأبرز والأشهر إلى تحديث وذلك بعد مرور نحو 13 عام على آخر تحديث خضع له. ومن شأن التحديث الجديد أن يعزز من مكانة Mozilla على قائمة أفضل المتصفحات. فمتصفح Firefox Quantum صدر العام الماضي ويمكن اعتباره بمثابة خطوة إصلاحية قامت بها Firefox لجهة شفرة المتصفح الأساسية، وكان لذلك تأثير على السرعة. يستخدم المتصفح الجديد هذا جزء قليل من ذاكرة الوصول العشوائي RAM. ويمكن القيام بذلك مع وجود أكثر من علامة تبويب مفتوحة في نفس الوقت. وشهدت نسخة المتصفح الحديثة إجراءات جديدة خاصة بحماية خصوصية المستخدمين .وعلى الرغم من هذه التحسينات إلا أنه لا يمكن اعتباره الأسرع بين المتصفحات ولكنه ما زال الأحسن في قائمة متصفحات العام 2018.

Google Chrome
متصفح Chrome الذي اختير الأسرع في عام 2017، لا يزال محافظاً على موقعه الفعّال من حيث السرعة كما أن قاعدة مستخدميه تزداد باستمرار نظراً لامتلاكه العديد من الإضافات التي يمكن الحصول عليها بسهولة إلى جانب الإعدادات لضمان أن يعمل بأقصى كفاءة .هذا المتصفح يعتبر مثالي للأجهزة التي تملك الموارد الكافية مثل “سعة القرص وأن تكون ذاكرة الوصول العشوائي كافية”. إذ أن أحد سلبيات هذا المتصفح بأنه لا يعمل جيداً على الأجهزة التي تعتبر ذاكرة الوصول العشوائي فيها محدودة. أضف إلى ذلك قد يشعر مستخدم متصفح Google Chrome بالقلق حيال خصوصية بياناته نظراً لوجود برامج التتبع وجمع البيانات ومراقبة الأنشطة على الإنترنت الخاصة بشركة جوجل على هذا المتصفح.

Opera
يُصنّف هذا المتصفح بأنه جيد ويتميز بواجهة مستخدم جيدة، وعلى الرغم من ذلك لا يحتل هذا المتصفح سوى 1% من سوق المتصفحات. ولعل أبرز مميزات هذا المتصفح ميزة Opera turbo والتي تعمل على ضغط حركة مرور الويب لدى المستخدم ونقل البيانات من خلال خوادم أوبرا. وهذه الميزة لها تأثير كبير على السرعة لا سيما في حال كان الاتصال بالانترنت ضعيف أو سعة النطاق الترددي قليلة .كما أن هذا المتصفح يتميز لجهة الأمان الذي يوفره إذ يسجل خروج تلقائي في حال كان المستخدم يعمل على مواقع آمنة مثل البنوك، وبالتالي لا تتعرض البيانات لأي انتهاك محتمل. هذا إلى جانب تضمينه مانع إعلانات تلقائي ويمكن إيقاف تشغيله في أيّ وقت.

Microsoft Edge
هذا المتصفح هو المدمج لـ Windows 10 ولا يمكن أن يعمل على النسخ الأقدم. ويعمل بجانب Internet Explorer. ولقد أوضحت مايكروسوف السبب وراء وضع متصفحين من إنتاجها في برنامج التشغيل Windows 10، وهو أن متصفح Edge يعتبر الأقرب إلى المستخدمين العاديين في حين يعتبر Explorer المفضل بالنسبة للشركات .
متصفح Edge سريع للغاية ويمكّن المستخدم من قراءة الصفحات المعقدة بسهولة، كما وأنه ومن خلال وضعه منفصلًا عن بقية نظام التشغيل، تضمن مايكروسوفت عدم تعرضه لخروقات أمنية مثلما كان يحدث مع Explorer.

Microsoft Internet Explorer
بعد فترةٍ من الصعود والهبوط، عاد متصفح Explorer من خلال النسخة الجديدة Internet Explorer 11 ليتبوء مكانة مهمة. إذ يتطلب مساحة أقل من ذاكرة الوصول العشوائي ووحدة المعالجة المركزية من المساحة التي تحتاجها متصفحات Firefox وChrome. وعلى الرغم من ذلك لا يمكن اعتبار هذا المتصفح مثالي، فحسب معيار V8 الخاص بشركة غوغل فإن متصفح Explorer لا يزال يواجه صعوبات وغير قادر على التعامل مع الإضافات Ad-ons كما الحال مع منافسيه.

Vivaldi
يعتبر متصفح Vivaldi جديد نسبياً، وهو يوفّر إمكانية تعديل وتخصيص شكل واجهة المستخدم بالكامل وبالتالي يمكن للمستخدم الإستمتاع بالوقت الذي يقضيه على الإنترنت. ويمكن تثبيت مواقع الويب كألواح جانبية أثناء القيام باستخدام النافذة الرئيسة. ومع خاصية tab stacking يمكن للمستخدمين تجميع علامات التبويب ونقلها لتجنب الازدحام الذي نعاني منه مع المتصفحات الأخرى .بُني هذا المتصفح على متصفح Chromium، الأمر الذي يتيح تنزيل العديد من الإضافات من السوق الإلكتروني لـ Chrome.

Tor
يتيح متصفح Tor الوصول للمواقع غير المدرجة، بالإضافة إلى تمتعه بقدر كبير من حماية الخصوصية حيث يتم توجيه حركة المرور عبر مجموعة من العقد العشوائية في جميع أنحاء العالم مما يجعل تتبعه أمر صعب جدًا. ويعتبر هذا المتصفح نسخة معدلة من إصدارFirefox Extended Support، مضاف إليه عدد من حزم الخصوصية ما يجعله أكثر أمانًا. وهو لا يحتفظ بأي بيانات أو إشارات مرجعية bookmarks أو ملفات تعريف ارتباطCOOKIES . وهذا الأمر مفيد في حال تم استخدامه كمتصفح ثانٍ بغرض السرية وخاصة إذا تم تشغيله من خلال USB فلن يعرف أحد أن المستخدم يملكه على الإطلاق.

نظام فيليبس الذكي للإضاءة :Philips Hue هو نظام إضاءة لاسلكي شخصي، يسمح للمستخدم التحكم بسهولة في نوعية الإضاءة ودرجتها، ويتميز هذا النظام بتوفيره الأجواء المناسبة لكل اللحظات من خلال إضفاء الحيوية على المنزل الذكي باستخدام الإضاءة الأكثر اتصالاً في العالم.

أمازون إيكو Amazon Echo: هي سماعات لاسلكية بإمكانها تلقّي الأوامر الصوتية والإجابة عنها، وتعمل السماعات مع الكثير من الأجهزة الذكية الأخرى.

ضابط درجة الحرارة Nest Learning Thermostat: تعتبر هذه التكنولوجيا ذات منفعة عالية للمنازل الواقعة في المناطق الحارة أو الباردة جداً على حدٍ سواء؛ إذ يسمح بالتحكم بدرجة حرارة المنزل عبر الحاسوب أو الهاتف الذكي عن بعد.

After Google unveiled its new Google Assistant earlier this summer, consumers were given a demonstration of how far artificial intelligence in the services sector has come. The complexity and human-like conversation was definitely impressive, and most users will probably not question whether the voice on the other end of the line was in fact human, or a computer program.

AI has been an integral part of customer service for many years, with over 60{f9e613f517110994348d69a5797a353d87ee03cef25d7bb6efd85f4964c1c644} of customer service conversations being conducted by chatbots in 2018, and that percentage is expected to rise to a whopping 85{f9e613f517110994348d69a5797a353d87ee03cef25d7bb6efd85f4964c1c644} of all conversations by 2020.

There are several obvious reasons why AI is replacing live sales and customer service representatives over time. First and foremost, it’s very cost-efficient for brands and corporations to transfer mundane, simple customer questions on to a chatbot. This would free up the brand’s live sales representatives to focus on more complex customer complaints, and the larger strategy to handling problems that may arise early on. Second, access to big data and the rapid and continual advance of technology, has allowed for easier development of comprehensive conversational programs that are able to handle a majority of day-to-day customer service issues, and do so in an increasingly human-like way.

At first glance, it might seem that replacing human operators, with computer programs, is a step down in customer experience. However, with the continuous evolution of the AI utilized, the benefits of employing chatbots becomes evident. Customers today expect support and help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Chatbots can make that a reality, where customers can get in touch any time of the day, and get help resolving an issue or more information about the product or service they wish to buy or get support for.

Another less obvious benefit, is the ability to tailor-make and customize the chatbot to each individual customer. While a human operator might need some time to better understand a customer and his or her needs, a chatbot with powerful AI can tap into the data on each user, and anticipate what the customer might need help with, or desire to order. So, for example, if a user has checked insurance policies on several occasions before, the chatbot can prepare its answers based on what the customer probably needs assistance with. This saves time for both the customer, as well as the brand, and ensures a more personalized response from the chatbot that will more likely leave the customer satisfied with the interaction.

Of course, despite AI’s massive leaps recently, it still cannot replace a human yet. That’s why a vital part of developing a successful chatbot, is being able to detect when a real human representative needs to take over a conversation. An unhappy client for example, might not be satisfied with a bot’s possible reactions, and will need a human operator than can better empathize and pick up on subtle inflections in tone that indicate a customer’s sentiments, and the best way to handle them.

Prospects of artificial intelligence replacing jobs usually held by human employees, begs the question of what will happen when AI is better, cheaper and more efficient at doing what many people do today. The answer is a complex one, and one societies have asked themselves every time technology has made a monumental leap. Before street lights were electric, someone’s job was to light all the lanterns on city streets every night. Today, those jobs have disappeared, yet unemployment didn’t necessarily go up.

The reality is, mundane, repetitive tasks that do not require critical thinking and “outside-the-box” ideas, can be delegated to AI. AI will probably also do it more efficiently, being able to work nonstop and unperturbed with fatigue or other consequences of being a complex human being. Humans are not out of the equation though, but their role will simply evolve. If chatbots can answer the phones, take appointments and answer common questions, employees can focus on solving issues AI cannot, such as building rapport, picking up on subtle queues and focusing on developing the grand strategy of a brand or company.

Some sectors are definitely more ready to delegate positions to chatbots. Insurance, real estate, finance, law and even governmental functions such as paying fines and keeping track of judiciary matters, are easily delegated to a chatbot. That’s because the answers are fairly standard, the offers are the same, the price list is readily available and troubleshoot questions are fairly similar for most users. It’s less structured industries that might need to get more creative with chatbots, such as creative and artistic industries, where a pre-packaged, ready answer is hard to always come by.

Bottom line is, next time you call a company, it’s very likely you are talking to a chatbot. This phenomenon will be on the rise in the coming years, with powerful tools to create such programs readily available for users to adapt and teach to properly function in their industry. It will be interesting to see how the Arab World adapts to this, with many different and location-specific dialects and vernacular making it a tougher job for an AI to hold a human-like conversation.

كما تقوم النظارة بقراءة النصوص المطبوعة للمستخدم بشكل كامل. ومع إضافة التحديث الجديد للتطبيق الخاص بالنظارة أصبح هناك إمكانية استخدام خوارزمية الذكاء الاصطناعي، وأصبح التطبيق قادراً على وصف أشياء محددة مثل لون الملابس. كما أضافت الشركة نظام للتعرف على لون الإضاءة حول المستخدم مع تنبيهه عند الاقتراب من مصادرها. ولم يعد يقتصر على النصوص المطبوعة القصيرة بل أصبح قادراً على التعرف على خط اليد وهي إحدى المهارات التي بات يتميز بها التطبيق، بالإضافة إلى أنه يمكن تحديد مستوى الصوت، فضلا عن تحديد سرعة الكلام.
