وهكذا، فإن أهمية المعرفة ليس بالأمر الجديد، بل ما هو جديد حجم تأثيرها على كافة أوجه الحياة في ظل الثورة التكنولوجية التي غيّرت وجه البشرية. فكان بروز اقتصاد المعرفة الذي شهد تطورات بوتيرة متسارعة وعلى نطاقٍ واسع، قابله إنطلاق السباق بين دول العالم لتعزيز الاقتصاد المحلي ليصبح تنافسياً عالمياً مبنياً على المعرفة والابتكار.

أدركت دولة الامارات العربية المتحدة، أهمية تحويل اقتصادها الريعي إلى اقتصاد قائم على المعرفة، بهدف تعزيز موقعها كمركز إقليمي وعالمي في مجال الأعمال والمال. واستشمرت إمارة دبي كل طاقتها من خلال “خطة دبي 2021” إلى جانب “استراتيجية دبي الصناعية 2030″ ومعرض إكسبو دبي 2020” و “الحكومة الذكية”، ما أدى إلى فتح الباب على مصراعيه أمام القطاعات غير النفطية، فتراجع إسهام قطاع النفط إلى نسبة لا تتجاوز 1% في الإقتصاد.

قطار التكنولوجيا الذي انطلق في الإمارات ولا سيما في العاصمة أبو ظبي وفي إمارة دبي، يسير بخطواتٍ ثابتة وسريعة، وأتت نتائج الجهود التي بذلتها الدولة والقطاع الخاص كبيرة وواعدة جداً. إذ احتلت الإمارات المرتبة الثانية على مستوى العالم في مجال تحسّن الخدمات الإلكترونية. ووفقاً للجدول الزمني لتنفيذ ” برنامج محمد بن راشد للتعلم الذكي” ستكون جميع مدارس الإمارات ذكية بحلول العام المقبل 2019، ناهيك عن الإنجازات والتحولات التكنولوجية في قطاعات النقل والمصارف والسياحة والتجارة والطب وكافة القطاعات الأخرى من دون استثناء.

فدولة الإمارت ركزت على الاستثمار في تطوير البنية التحتية منذ عقود، لتحتل اليوم الترتيب الأول عالمياً ضمن محاور “جهوزية قطاع التكنولوجيا” حسب تقرير التنافسية العالمي الأخير الصادر عن المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي “دافوس” في سويسرا.

وبلغت نسبة استخدام الانترنت في الإمارات 99% من إجمالي عدد السكان. وباتت التكنولوجيا المكوّن الرئيس في استراتيجية التنوع الاقتصادي في دولة الإمارات وهذا الأمر شكل جاذباً لكبرى الشركات العالمية لاتخاذ دبي مركزاً إقليمياً لأعمالها في المنطقة العربية وشمال افريقيا.

يؤكد الخبراء أن مسيرة التحول الرقمية باتت وسيلة لخفض التكاليف على مستوى ميزانية الدول على المدى الطويل، وتلعب دوراً محورياً في تحفيز إنتاجية الموظفين ودفعهم نحو الابتكار والإبداع. تجربة الإمارات مثالٌ نجاح يجب أن يشكل حافزاً للدول، لا سيما العربية لاستخدام قطار التكنولوجيا والمعرفة كوسيلة لتحقيق التنمية على كافة الصعد.

في حين يزداد قلق الأساتذة وأولياء الأمور وعلماء النفس حول أثر المدة الزمنية التي يستغرقها الاطفال باستخدام أجهزة التكنولوجياعلى سولكهم وتصرفاتهم، نشأت تكنولوجيا متعددة في إطار الذكاء الاصطناعي والتعليم الإلكتروني والتي من شأنها أن تحدث تغييرات على مستوى مؤسسات التعليم وأساليبها وأدواتها وبالتالي قد تؤدي إلى تغيير المستقبل. فهل التوقعات ستكون فعلاً مطابقة للنتائج؟ وأيّ أثر إجتماعي وتربوي وأخلاقي سيحدثه الذكاء الاصطناعي على قطاع التعليم؟

وصلت النقاشات حول الآلات الذكية والتهديدات والمخاطر المستقبلية الشديدة للذكاء الاصطناعي إلى أروقة البيت الأبيض. إذ يشير تقرير “سوق الذكاء الاصطناعي في قطاع التعليم للولايات المتحدة”، إلى أن التعليم بواسطة الذكاء الاصطناعي سيصل إلى 47.5% في أميريكا في العام 2021.

بدأ تطبيق الذكاء الاصطناعي على بعض الأدوات التي تساعد على تنمية المهارات والأداء ونظام الإختبارات. ويجري حالياً العمل على تطوير حلول التعليم بواسطة الذكاء الاصطناعي، ويبقى الأمل أن تؤدي هذه الحلول إلى تلبية حاجات التعلم والتعليم والسماح للتلاميذ والمعلمين في تأدية أدوار أفضل من أي وقت مضى.

تتوحد رؤية الذكاء الاصطناعي في مجال التعليم حول الحصول على أفضل النتائج للطلاب. وبما أن الطلاب سيعملون في المستقبل في مؤسسات تضمن إستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي بطبيعة الحال، من المهم أن توفر مؤسسات التعليم هذه التكنولوجيا لطلابها.

لطالما كان تعديل أساليب التعلم بناءً على احتياجات الطالب الخاصة أولوية بالنسبة للمعلمين، ولهذا سيتيح الذكاء الاصطناعي المجال أمام الأساتذة غير القادرين على إدارة 30 طالب في كل صف على سبيل المثال والتمييز بينهم على تأدية واجبهم على أكمل وجه.

وتعمل بعض الشركات في الوقت الحالي على تطوير تصميمات ذكية للتوجيه ومنصات رقمية تستخدم الذكاء الإصطناعي لتأمين التعلم والاختبارات والانطباعات لكل طالب بدء من صفوف الروضة حتى الجامعة. إذ ستكون الآلة قادرة على أن تلتقط التعبير على وجه الطالب، وتحديد ما إذا كان يواجه صعوبة في فهم مادة أو موضوع ما، وبالتالي ستقوم بتحضير نموذج آخر للمادة لمساعدته على فهمها بشكلٍ أفضل.

تستطيع أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي مساعدة جميع الصفوف المدرسية والجامعية في العالم، حتى التي تحتوي على طلاب يعانون من صعوبة في النظر والسمع ولطلاب يتكلمون لغات مختلفة. كما يمكن من خلال هذه التكنولوجيا إنجاز كل ما يتعلق بتقييم الطلاب وأدائهم من خلال الاختبارات والفروض المنزلية، كما يمكنه تقديم توصيات واقتراحات لتحسين الأداء الاختباري والمنهجي للطلاب.

يراهن البعض على التأثير المتبادل بين التعليم والذكاء الاصطناعي، لكن لا أحد يملك جواباً لمن ستكون الغلبة في المستقبل، إذا تصارع الأستاذ والروبوت.

Here are 3 lessons we learned from Jordan’s immersive Hakaya Festival.

Storytelling has no boundaries

Storytelling is an adventure that catapults you in the moment in real time and with Hakaya Festival’s storytellers that come from a variety of walks of life, you get to experience a human connection like no other. This is what ultimately made the experience so powerful and valuable. Mingled with different forms of storytelling methods with dancing, music, theatre, film, open-ended discussions, and personal stories that are inspired from real life experiences, you get to witness a raw connection where you can ultimately relate to the performers way beyond their shared stories and where they are from.

Women are survivors

Women have come a long way and with epic stories to date to depict that. British-Indian storyteller Sita Brand, welcomed us all on an exhilarating journey with tales of spirited and courageous women from around the world, titled “Fearless Girls and Feisty Women.” Resonating from both the past and modern times, the stories lightheartedly remind us the beauty of how far we have come. Although we are separated geographically, women have come out revolutionary by transforming the world around them towards a more feminist future, where our voices are heard, and to making anything we want possible. Together, women have survived and defeated their personal challenges to an uplifting society we live in today.

Since ancient times, Arabic folk tales have been shared and spread orally to their listeners. This has been going on for thousands of years with the folk storytelling scene still gaining popularity to this day. A longstanding tradition of stories that have been handed down through generations and generations to come, Arabic folktale storytellers perpetually immerse their listeners with their own magical touch, voice, and tone. Mixed with eclectic tales of reality that are inspired from the authentic world and the storyteller’s creative imagination, proves to us how Arabic folk storytelling is both historical and powerful, and will continue to live on eternally.

As simple as they are, storytelling festivals like the Hakaya Festival are evolutionary experiences that continue to attract more crowds every year.  تحوّل عالمنا اليوم إلى قرية كونيّة فنحن نعيش في ظل العولمة. ويبدو جلياً أن التّكنولوجيا المرتبطة بشكلٍ مباشر بالإنترنت تستحوذ على الحصّة الأكبر في هذا العالم، إذ تسيطر على كلّ معالم الحياة من التّفاصيل الصّغيرة إلى تلك الكبيرة. وهذا الأمر ليس بالبعيد عن عالمنا العربي، إذ لعب الانترنت دوراً أساسياً في تنمية العديد من القطاعات الفعّالة المرتبطة بشكلٍ مباشر بتنمية وتقوية الإقتصاد. ولقد نتج عن هذا الإزدهار في عالم الإنترنت نشوء شركات وقطاعات جديدة وبروز مفهوم جديد للتّجارة ألا وهو التّجارة الإلكترونية.

منذ سنوات عدة، راهنت الولايات المتّحدة على نجاح التجارة الالكترونية وقدرتها على السيطرة على الأسواق في جميع أنحاء العالم. ومن هنا بدأ الإهتمام واضحاً عند عنصر الشّباب في الدّول العربية بإدخال هذا النموذج إلى الأسواق العربية والعمل على إنجاح ودمج وتعريف مجتمعاتنا على هذه التّقنيّة الجديدة للتّجارة. ومع تزايد وتوسّع التّجارة الإلكترونيّة، تحوّلت بمجملها من لغّة السّفر وعقد الصّفقات المباشرة وجهًا لوجه، إلى لغّة العصر وعقد صفقات البيع والشّراء من خلال كبسة زر ومن خلف شاشة الحاسوب وعلى بعد مئات الأميال. واليوم نرى أنّ هذا النّوع من التّجارة قد نجح بالفعل بسبب العدد المتزايد لمستخدمي الإنترنت في العالم وخاصةً في مجتمعاتنا العربيّة، والذي يحقق نمو إيجابي ومتسارع الخطوات.

وكنتيجة للنّقاط الإيجابيّة الموضوعة في عهدة التّجارة الإلكترونيّة، نشأت الكثير من الشّركات في الوطن العربي ذات الطابع التجاري والتسويقي الإلكتروني البحت . فالشّباب العربي استطاع أن يستفيد من تجربة المواقع التّجاريّة العالميّة مثل أمازون وغيرها، لتسويق بضائعهم بطريقة تلفت إنتباه الشّاري وتجذب أسواق وشركات تجاريّة جديدة. كما ساهمت تلك الشّركات إلى حدٍ كبير في بروز إبتكارات تجاريّة وتسويقيّة ذات ربح جيّد. وتدور المنافسة حالياً بين تلك الشّركات أكانت عربيّة أو غربيّة حول كسب أكبر عدد ممكن من العملاء المحتملين من خلال مواقع التّواصل الإجتماعي.

ولا تزال التّجارة الإلكترونيّة تحقق نجاحات بارزة وتترك التأثيرات الإيجابية لا سيما من خلال توفير فرص عمل جديدة لجيل الشباب، إذ أعطت المستثمرين العرب، الشبّاب منهم بالتحديد، فرصة الدّخول إلى عالم التّجارة المفتوحة من دون حدود أو قيود. هذا إلى جانب أن هذا النوع من التجارة لا يرتّب أعباء إضافية ولا يحتاج إلى رأس مال مادي كبير. كما أن ممارسة التجارة الإلكترونية يتيح المجال للعمل من المنزل، وبالتالي لا يوجد حاجة إلى الإستعانة بكادر بشري كبير.

انخرط العالم العربي في ركب التكنولوجيا وقطاعاتها المتعددة، وعلى رأسها التّجارة الإلكترونيّة العابرة للقارات. و لعب الشّباب الدور الأكبر في هذا الإطار، وبات لزاماً العمل على مستوى الحكومات والدول لوضع قوانين جديدة للتّجارة من شأنها أن تواكب هذا التّطوّات المتسارعة وتضمن حقوق البائع والشّاري على حدٍ سواء.

Mobile phones, laptops, smart TVs and the ever-growing list of connected appliances and devices in our homes and offices use Wi-Fi to get on the World Wide Web. Often, we just plug in the router and connect our devices without giving it a second thought. Outdated firmware, misplaced locations and other router-related issues can dramatically decrease Internet speeds. 1- Location, Location, Location

It might seem obvious, but the router being in a central location is essential for optimal coverage in your home or place of business. Often, users choose to place their router next to other electronic devices or inside cabinets and cupboards. Instead, users should aim to install their WiFi router in an area with the least amount of physical obstacles that might hinder the radio waves or interfere with them.

If your router is a few years old, chances are it’s a 802.11g or 802.11n router. Investing in better hardware is one of the surest ways to make sure you make the most out of your Internet connection, and the 802.11ac router would be the best upgrade you can make, especially if your laptops and devices are Wireless AC ones.

4- Increase Range

Given that WiFi uses radio waves to communicate with your devices, you can amplify the range with a few simple DIY tweaks. One idea is to use tin foil and shape it in a semi-circular way in the direction you want to amplify the range. Another is to get a cable that you can attach to your router’s twist-off antenna, allowing you to move the antennae closer to the area you want the signal to become stronger in.

5- Use Less Crowded Channels

Routers are able to operate on various channels, and often your router will choose the least crowded one to use. The reason for crowding, especially in cities and public areas, is other WiFi routers. Your neighbors, nearby restaurants and the coffee shop down the block probably have WiFi routers too and this can degrade your signal due to interference. Network Analyzer Lite or WiFi Analyzer can help you make sure your WiFi network isn’t being crowded by others on the same channel, and you can switch channels manually if you believe your router can perform better on a less congested channel.

Visuals do not only make your presentation more attractive but are a sure-fire way to lock into your audience’s memory. Make sure to use the right visual aids that can act as a reference during your presentation in the rare cases that you forget what you want to say. One important thing to keep in mind is to add your startup’s brand color and font type throughout the presentation. Consistency is key.

One thing that most successful entrepreneurs have in common is the ability to tell great stories. Telling a story that ties with your idea helps create a narrative structure to your presentation. So, try to incorporate your story early on to your presentation to engage your audience from the beginning. Paint the picture of startup story and share it in a simple and effective way as it will help you integrate your data and information in an interesting way. This method can boost your pitch as it will help you communicate and integrate all the facts, statistics and information in a memorable way.

Every time you practice, you lessen the chances of you forgetting what to say as it enables you to focus more on building a connection with the audience and attracting their attention. Make sure to time yourself and keep your presentation in under 20 minutes long.

Finally, as nerve-wrecking it could be to some as you will be the centerpiece of the room with all eyes on you, try to maintain eye-contact with audience. This simple and most repeated advice will definitely keep investors engaged. Remember, even nerves can be used as energy. So, use that energy to your advantage and move around if you can. In fact, that can signal you as being confident and honest.
