A: Any customer who needs reliable and competitive access to the Internet.
Q: Do I need an Umniah line to get Umax?
A: No, you do not require an Umniah mobile line or landline to enjoy a Umax subscription, as Umax is a wireless access service.
Q: How many Umax lines can I get?
A: As many lines as you need provided that you meet Umniah’s credit requirements.
Q: How long does it take to activate my Umax connection?
A: It takes only 10 minutes.
Q: What is a CPE?
A: CPE, or Customer Premises Equipment, is a small portable device that enables you to connect to the Umax service any time and from any location within the Umax coverage area.
Q: How can I get a CPE?
A: The CPE will be offered as part of the Internet subscription plan that you subscribe to. The payment plan varies between offers.
Q: How can I configure my wireless modem?
A: By simply reading the Quickstart manual provided with your CPE and following its clear and user-friendly instructions.

Q: What is the meaning of “CAP limit”?
A: A CAP limit is the total number of GB allowed of downloaded and uploaded data during each month, and it varies based on the nature of your subscription.
Q: How can I tell if I reach my CAP limit?
A: You will be notified through an SMS message when you reach:  • 50% of your CAP threshold  • 80% of your CAP threshold  • 100% of your CAP threshold You can also check your CAP limit and your subscription details through Umniah’s website, www.umniah.com, and registering on our Broadband Portal.
Q: What happens when I reach my CAP limit?
A: Your subscription speed will be throttled to 64Kbps as per the fair Usage Policy. Please click here for more information
Q: How can I recharge my CAP?
A: You can top up your account by visiting any of Umniah’s branches and using your credit card or a prepaid Internet card through the Broadband portal on our website. Click here for more information
Q: How long does it take to recharge my account?
A: It takes only 10 minutes.
Q: Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?
A: You can upgrade your subscription anytime you want, however downgrading it is only available upon renewal.

Q: Can I terminate the service?
A: Yes, you can, but only if you are facing technical problems that could not be solved when you first subscribed to the service.
